Our favourite place for breakfast is Marmalade in Kemptown, where I’ll have warm banana bread with yogurt and a berry compote.
We head to the beach and meet Poppy [Deyes, Alfie’s sister and an influencer], her boyfriend and some friends. There are food shacks with burgers, and we put picnic blankets down.
I pop to Haskins Garden Centre in Littlehampton. Since lockdown I’ve been spending more time in the garden. I have a wall of sweet peas, and I planted sunflowers. I also did a lot of baking, mostly brownies and banana bread. During lockdown Alfie and I helped each other out with work, and luckily we didn’t have any huge arguments. Celebrating my 30th in lockdown was a bit strange: we did a quiz by video call – definitely a birthday I won’t forget.
