A Stoke-on-Trent hair salon has been forced to close after a positive Covid-19 test.
Natashair, on Blurton Road, Blurton, was forced to close yesterday.
A message on their Facebook page reads: “We have had a positive covid-19 test within the salon (with no symptoms at all).
“We have been in contact with public health England today. We have followed all rules and guidelines and our NHS track and trace have been submitted. They will get in touch with who they need too.
“In the interest of everybody’s health, staff, clients and our community, I have made the decision to close the salon for 14 days.
“I’m sorry to clients who are booked in over the next two weeks but as you can appreciate, health comes first and we are taking this virus seriously.
“I will be in touch personally and individually as soon as I can.”
A sign on the salon window states: “To all clients, due to unforeseen circumstances the salon will be closed today! 8/8/20.
“Please contact the Facebook page for more information, sorry for any inconvenience. Natashair Team x”
Clients have praised the salon owner for closing saying the decision was ‘honest and sensible’.
