Because of coronavirus, Paris Salon de la Photo will not be back at the Parc des Expositions in Porte de Versailles from Thursday November 5 to Monday 9, 2020. And this new edition of the Salon de la Photo was said to have even more surprises in store.
More and more visitors come to the Salon de la Photo and are curious to discover the new trends regarding photography! The edition 2019 of the Salon de la Photo counted up to 61,044 visitors instead of 60,885 in 2018! This 13th edition of the show has also been marked by a younger audience, passionate people in temrs of novelties, creativeness, conviviality and meeting.
Facing its success, the Salon de la Photo was to return to the Parc des Expos de la Porte de Versailles from Thursday November 5 to Monday November 9, 2020 and bring together the biggest brands of the picture world: makers, importers as well as schools and professional groups. All in all, over 180 brands were to be present during the fair.
For five days, they reveal their novelties as well as their originalities! This is the occasion to know more about the latest technological innovations, from the shot to the printing via the digital photo retouching, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, courses and screenings followed by debates…
But the Salon de la Photo also enables to discover picture through several animations like conferences, meetings with the greatest names of the trade or the Zoom that will award two photographers for the sixth year in a row with the ZOOM du Public award and ZOOM de la Presse Photo award.
These awards have been created in 2010 to promote photographer occupation and highlight it. One of these prizes is given by the public who can vote on Salon de la Photo website and the other by the photo specialized press.
