Cortland County Health officials say a customer at TJ Nails and Spa on Route 281 in Cortland between 3 and 4 p.m. August 3 tested positive for the coronavirus.

The customer was wearing a mask but anyone who was at the business at that time should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19.

Symptoms include fever or chills, shortness of breath, cough, a sudden loss of taste or smell, sore throat and vomiting or diarrhea for 14 days after the potential exposure.

Anyone exhibiting symptoms associated with COVID-19 should contact their health care provider for guidance on testing and treatment.
