Barneys New York is already known for its high-end clothes. It soon will be known for another “high end.”
The shop will open in Barneys’ Beverly Hills flagship store in March and is a partnership with Los Angeles-based cannabis company Beboe.
The High End will sell accessories and lifestyle products including vaporizer pens and pastilles and CBD products. Select accessories will also be for sale on Barneys’ website.
“Barneys New York has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception,” said Daniella Vitale, Barneys CEO and president in a statement. “Many of our customers have made cannabis a part of their lifestyle, and The High End caters to their needs with extraordinary products and service they experience in every facet of Barneys New York.”

The concept shop will feature rare and exclusive items made especially for The High End from rolling papers, leather ashtrays, storage boxes and custom-made blown glass pipes, according to the company.
“I’m so thrilled that cannabis culture has come so far that it can exist and feel perfectly at home in such a prestigious context as Barneys New York,” said Scott Campbell, Beboe co-founder in a statement.
Customers who visit the Beverly Hills shop will be able to speak to Beboe representatives and also purchase from Beboe through white glove delivery service, Emjay.
Even before the March opening on the fifth floor of the Beverly Hills location, Barneys said there are plans to expand The High End to more locations.
“Barneys has never been shy about pushing creative boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels,” Campbell said.
